The investment and retirement services division of one of the nation's largest commercial banks needed real time analytics around the sales performance of their various investment products in order to optimize sales and marketing resource allocation. Using existing methods, data latency on this analysis was 45 to 60 days. In one week, Altosoft was able to implement a solution that featured real time data and delivered all the analytics required by the bank.
A major cable communications company was faced with an emerging competitive threat from new market entrants. With a large but limited budget for capital improvements, the cable company needed find a way to effectively prioritize target geographies for capital improvement in order to maximize customer satisfaction. The data required for this analysis was contained in a variety of databases; due to operational considerations and the massive volume of data a traditional data warehouse-based solution was impossible.
